INDIANAPOLIS – In response to the escalating impact of wildfire smoke on air quality across North America, Carrier has unveiled a comprehensive initiative aimed at fortifying indoor environments in both residential and commercial settings.
The program addresses the health hazards posed by fine particulate matter, which has been linked to exacerbated respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Carrier advises property owners to implement three core interventions: upgrading HVAC systems with high-efficiency filtration, sealing structural vulnerabilities to prevent smoke ingress, and deploying portable air purifiers equipped with HEPA technology.
